I love this top! The results are so professional (as with all Rebecca Page patterns). It’s quick and relatively easy, but it looks like it took a long time and a lot of hard work. Can’t ask for a better pattern than this one!
Carrie Wilson –
Beautiful, classy and stylish, the finish product is just that. Instructions are clear enough for a beginner to complete a classy blouse. The yokes really make this stand out.
Jennie Coffman Lindstrom –
I just made a Madison blouse and I absolutely love it. I chose to make the tie neck, short sleeves in blouse length and the result is an elegant and beautiful blouse. You will love this pattern!
Melinda Bailey –
I have made three of these beautiful blouses, I love this pattern so much. This time around I made the long sleeve and love it! The instructions are clear and concise, and I will be making more!
Kelly Stokes –
This is a gorgeous blouse! The pleats on the sleeves makes for a nice change instead of gathers. I did find I needed to make the sleeve a bit wider due the size of my arms, but otherwise it was a beautiful pattern to make with fantastic instructions
Chaney Baxley Mobley –

Madison is always a favorite in our house! Such a sweet, feminine blouse and dress to do, and not at all “hard” to achieve such a nice look! I feel this style is never going to go “out” of fashion, it’s a timeless piece and a staple for any wardrobe.

Forming a new business, I have been spending a lot of time in meetings and making first impressions. After years as a stay at home Mom, my “business” attire was sorely lacking. The Madision Blouse is the perfect piece to take me from the board room to social hour. The slim fit is flattering, and gathers (or pleats) in the sleeves and yokes give it a feminine and modern look. Construction is detailed and does take more time then a basic knit project, but the instructions are detailed and well written with accompanying photos. I would rate this as an intermediate as the structure of woven does not leave room for error in seam allowance or sizing, and it is helpful to have a prior understanding of buttonholes and interfacing. Overall, I am in love with my first Madison and can’t wait to make a dress version!

The Madison blouse was one of the first patterns from Rebecca Page that caught my eye. I loved the look of the tie neck, but wasn’t sure it was my style. Then I noticed that there was a version without the tie. My daughter needs some new tops for summer and I felt this would be perfect. As per usual, the instructions were easy to follow, including the ones for the flat-felled seam technique. I chose to do the nicest finishing with french and flat-felled seams and the result in lovely. However, instructions also include a faster serged option. Overall the fit is great and was accurate to the size chart. This is a great project for an intermediate sewist or adventurous beginner.

I enjoyed making this garmet. I found the instructions very detailed and easy to comprehend. I did have some issues with my overlocked seams that made it hard on the gathered seams, I did restart. I am really pleased with how the garmet turned out.

Franchesca Delgado –
This pattern was very easy to follow. All seams are beautifully enclosed and the fitting was perfect. I love that it has many options, especially, the alternative to sew it with or without the neck tie, which makes it versatile.
Nikki McCarty –
I love this pattern! It pushed me to use wovens that I don’t work with often, and taught me something new along the way (flat felled seams). It’s delicate and classic, while being perfectly tailored for modern wear. Pairing it with Betty gave a great retro flair, too!
Emma Zobel –
The Madison Blouse is a beautiful pattern! I made it with a quilting cotton and a big bow on the front and we love it! It needed some adjusting under the armpits but once that was taken care of, it was love!
Ng Puay Choo –

I absolutely love this pattern! The tie neck bow makes for the cutest touch. Super versatile- make it with cotton woven for Summer or a flannel plaid to make for a sweet Holiday dress or blouse! Easy to follow instructions made it a breeze to make in one day.
Adawiyah Hairuni –
I love this pattern! This is my first time sewing buttonholes so I guess it’s a good start for me to overcome the fear! I don’t usually sew woven but now I think I already getting used to it. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.
Charlene Lee –
This is such a nice pattern for everyone ,children and adults, and dolls.. The child’s size was a little small for my grandson and I used the measurements of his chest and waist. Next time I have to go to the next size. Very clear instructions and especially like the fact of teaching how to do a french seam for the professional look! I will be making more of these for the grands and the adults.

I like this pattern, it has a nice shape and is easy to put together. It can be used to make so many different sizes of baskets that the price will be worth it! Quick and easy sew with nice results!
