Learn to make easy sustainable DIY gift wrap while using up fabric scraps and brown paper bags! This class will teach you three different ways to wrap gifts with Furoshiki, upcycled brown paper bags, and simple reusable drawstring bags.

Supplies for Furoshiki Wrapped Gifts:
- Fabric scraps 1 yard or less in size
- Pinking shears
- Ruler/measuring tape
- Tailor’s Chalk or fabric marking implement of choice
- Gifts to wrap
Optional: Overlocker/Serger or Sewing Machine for finishing fabric seams. You can simply cut your fabric with pinking shears and that counts as a finishing method!
Supplies for Upcycled Brown Bag Wrapping Paper:
- Brown paper shopping bags
- Paper scissors
- Craft paint in colors that excite you
- Craft sponges or paint brushes
- Paper plate or paint pallet
- Tape
- Ribbon or embellishment
- Gifts to wrap
Optional: If you’d rather draw on the bags instead of painting on the bags you can do so with permanent markers and give your bags a good doodle.
Supplies for the Simple Reusable Drawstring Bag:
- Fabric scrap 1 yard or less in size
- Fabric scissors
- Ruler/measuring tape
- Tailor’s chalk or fabric marking implement of choice
- Pins or wonder clips
- Ribbon or cord
- Safety Pin
- Gifts to wrap
