Aune Wood –
What an easy sew and a staple for your closet! Dress it up for a night out, or down for relaxing at home.
Sarah Miller –
This dress was a super quick and easy sew! I sewed up the mid thigh length in the round neck and flared version in less time then it took me to print and cut the pattern! The fit is amazing and so comfortable. I already have fabric picked out for several more and this is my new staple t-shirt pattern as well!
Jenni Elizabeth Early –
Love, love, love!! This is a t-shirt, and it’s not! It has so many options. Two different silhouettes: straight and flare, six different lengths: crop, top, mid-thigh, knee, mid-calf, and maxi. And a choice between short or long sleeves and scoop or v-neck. That makes something like 48 different options 🙂 So far, I have made the top length shirt and the mid-calf dress, both in the straight version. So I guess that means I have 2 down, 46 to go! It’s drafted perfectly for my body 🙂 I see many more of these in my future!!
Clare Bowes –
“A really quick and easy sew!
This pattern is fantastic, so many options to choose from! The hardest part is which to choose first!!!
All options be worn casual or dressed up, perfect for warm/ summery weather if made in a lightweight fabric.
I made XL, straight fit, mid-thigh length (But I kept the length as per pattern without shortening – I’m 5ft), in a jersey that has a lovely soft backing.
It is so comfy to wear
It’s a great beginner sew for anyone who hasn’t tried stretch fabrics before.
I’ll be making a few of these.
“
Jamie Adler –

I finally found the perfect summer dress! The Ladies T-Shirt Dress is comfortable, casual and stylish. I sewed the straight fit and it is so perfect. I can’t wait to sew the other options.
Diane Cullum –
Quick and easy for a perfect fitting tee! The neckband stuck out on my first try so I cut another out of better fabric with more stretch. It still sticks out. I will try shortening it the next time.
Laura Stephen –
A quick sew, and the first time I successfully made a V-neck shirt!
Adelle Pears –
This is a wardrobe staple! I have 5 already! There are so many options with the flared and straight fits and different lengths. I sized down for my second flared version and added pockets to my dress length versions and I love them all! Such a quick and easy sew.

A very easy and quick pattern with lots of options.
Nali –
This T-shirt dress pattern is simply the best! It fits well and so easy to sew. The only difficult part is deciding the various options in sleeves length, dress length, flare or straight fit. But which ever combination you choose, it’ll turn out gorgeous! Definitely my favourite. Size XS with armhole adjustment to size M.
Karen Kaye Manalo –
If you are looking for a comfortable t-shirt dress that is quick and easy to sew, I highly recommend this pattern.
Kyra Delaney –
I made this with the traditional short sleeve shirt length options and the straight side seams. I absolutely love the finished shirt. This is a perfect pattern if you want a regular tee with a few extra add-ons. I can see pulling this quick and simple pattern whenever I want a simple tee.
Grace Elliott –
This is the perfect T-shirt dress. It is nicely skimming from the waist down for ease of movement and comfort without being baggy. I imagine many of these for the summer months! It doesn’t make a bad tee shirt either.
Jasmine Chandler –
I love this pattern so quick and easy to make!
Jessica Kaiser –

“This pattern is great. It has so many posibilities and you can sew a hundred in an afternoon. I think it has become my favourite pattern so far. I’ll sew some for summer, some for winter and a few more just for fun 🙂
Thank you very much for this great pattern. “
Amanda Cunningham –
I LOVED this pattern! I have already made two and have a third on my sewing table. The t-shirt pattern is so simple to put together it can be done in less than an hour. The cut is very flattering (which is something for me as I don’t usually like t-shirt dresses). I like that it’s a little more fitted on the top but not as much around the tummy where ladies don’t want it to hug. It’s going to be one of my staple patterns from now on!
Pam OFlynn –
The Ladies T-shirt Dress has so many options! One pattern can make most of your wardrobe!
Michelle Mason –
This is my favourite dress right now, soooo comfortable and real easy to sew, love to wear this for everyday around the house right now and I think it would work as a nightdress too depending on fabric, I want to try it with a stretch velvet too to see how it looks all snazzy. I definitely need a few more of these
Chiara Kruse –
”
A quick and flattering project to showcase your favorite fabric or create a staple basic for your wardrobe. The t-shirt dress comes with 2 silhouettes, multiple sleeve and hem lengthes to give you a plethora of options.”
Rebekah Homer –
Finally. A year ago a made bunch of different t-shirt patterns trying to find the right one for just a basic awesome tshirt. I guess I was a year early, lol. So far I’ve only made the t-shirt length, short sleeve, v-neck in slim fit. It is perfect. Spot on. Super comfy. Super easy. I love the subtle v-neck that isn’t too deep- even though I’ll probably hack it deeper for some looks, it’s great as is for the casual look. I have plans for many more- and currently have the maxi dress on my cutting table. I find choosing which fabric I want to use takes me more time than actually sewing it up!
Luana Furlanetto –
Very easy sew, I love the versatility of this pattern, that can be dressy or casual depending on the fabric and accessories.
Sarai Orama –
Great versatile pattern! Will be making a lot of these in the future! And so cute on a growing maternity belly!
June Butchee –
The Ladies T-Shirt Dress Pattern is not just a dress pattern. There are several length options that you can make plus several sleeve options. It also gives you a choice between a flared or straight option. This pattern is quick to sew and fits nicely. It will quickly become a TNT pattern.

Magda Rindmo –
A very fast and easy pattern with a very comfy result. This will be a staple for me when spring arrives!
Sarah Miller –
This pattern is amazing and has absolutely no hemming involved! I love mine and it is so cozy and warm. The optional sleeves make it amazingly drapey and cozy. It is a quick sew and very easy to follow this pattern. I see myself making many more of these for everyone I know to stay cozy this winter!
Salomé Gonçalves –
This is the best “selfish sew” project for a beginner. Mostly straight seams (especially the sleeveless option) and can be completed in 1 day. Flattering fit and it looks so good!
Donna Jones –
This was such a straightforward sew. The sweater cape has been growing in popularity over the last few years and this ticks every box to make yourself the perfect version for you. The pictures and the instructions are super simple to follow, the project is quick to make, and NO HEMMING! Love love love
Peggy Pazera Cooke –
Quick and easy cape to make! The bands give a finished look without having to worry about hemming. Will definitely try one with the optional sleeves.
Jenna Page –
“The sweater cape is fabulous!!
I made it with sleeves in a cosy soft knit which will make the perfect autumn/spring cover up.
Great step by step instructions and I loved that there was no hemming. The band’s give it a great professional look and are so easy and quick to attatch. Thoroughly enjoyed making this up and can’t wait to try the sleeveless option too.”
Pam O’Flynn –
The Sweater Cape pattern is so easy to follow with great results. Can be sewn with sleeves or as a poncho style. Dress it up or down, you won’t be disappointed!
Kendra Quincy Knauf –
So cozy! This isn’t normally my style, but I took the risk to try it, whipped it up in an afternoon, and I love it!
Charlene Lee –
This is a great pattern and easy to follow. It sews up so quickly that you could make lots for gifts! My model said it is very comfortable to wear and looks so nice , like store bought!!
Karla Henrichs –
This was a very easy sew. Everything went together just perfect. I thought this was such a quick, fun sewing project. It would be awesome with a loose fitting hood.
Kainui Paet Nihipali –
This cape comes together super quick. It took me longer to cut it out than to sew. I used a cotton lycra and made a size XL. I like the options of buttons on the sides and sleeves.
Adelle Pears –
I’ll be honest, I’m not a cape person but it turns out I am definitely a sweater cape person! I love this. I made them (one is not enough) with sleeves and wear them all the time!
Katie Weatherly –
“A sew I enjoyed thru the whole process of putting together. This pattern allows for experimentation with different stretch fabrics.
“
Jane Whicheloe –

Bunford Orsi –
This is a wonderful, very stylish yet super easy sew! You can create gorgeous things in just a few hours! Must have for this winter !
Melinda Cornwall –
I have so many friends and family members asking me to make them this lovely cape after seeing photos of mine!! Super quick and simple to make. I used a thin Haici knit without sleeves, so it will be perfect for layering when the weather is cooler.
Catherine Murdock –
Great for throwing over the top of jeans & shirt ! I’ll be making a lace one for overlay in summer 🥰
Lisa Papaleo –
Such a chic sweater that can be whipped up quickly!
Deb Sendelbach –
Super chic boutique style you can make yourself. Super fast, fun, easy sew.
Abby Villarreal –
Adorable design! The sleeved version needs tweaks around the shoulder because of how it is designed, but otherwise is a great project.
Glo Ban –
Quick and easy, with great instructions to boot, and the finished product looks on par with store-bought designs with very little effort – this is a winter wardrobe staple! As soon as I finished sewing this pattern, I immediately tried it on and didn’t want to take it off! Perfect for lounging around the house, popping to your local and can be dressed up and down to your heart’s content.
Jamie Adler –
Stylish and easy to sew, this sweater cape pattern is so versatile and can be sewn for every season: heavier fabrics for autumn and winter months and lighter knit fabrics for spring and summer. Enjoy!
Shankari Paradee –
This is a great beginner’s pattern! Easy blocks and simple instructions. I went with three thrifted dresses for fabric and upcycled them to make this sweater cape and did color-blocking. What a great pattern to just have fun with color and expand your sewing skills!
Kirstie Balding –
Super simple sew with a great result, you can mix it up by using contrasting bands and different fabric weights for different seasons. Great pattern as always RP!
Rebekah Homer –
This was such a fun super quick sew! And I love how comfy it is! It’s a pretty basic pattern and I had so much fun mixing patterns so make this fun cape. I did the sleeve option and totally recommend it. It makes the cape into a great shirt for comfy cozy around the house or out and about.
Chiara Kruse –
The sweater cape was a very quick sew even with the optional sleeves. I used a lightweight sweater knit, which gave the garment plenty of drape and the perfect amount of warmth for California winters.
Emily Schimelfenyg –
Super quick, Beginner friendly sew. And the result is gorgeous and super comfy!
Keeley Jones –
This was such a fast sew, I almost can’t believe it! It’s got the perfect amount of slouch and will be perfect paired with just about anything!
Casey-Marie Bray –
Super quick and easy sew, perfect for cozy winters!
Nicole Librojo –
I love the drape of this cardigan! I made it in a lightweight sweater knit and can still wear it in the summer. I can see this in mesh and use it as a swimsuit cover up. Best part is, it’s such an easy sew! Less than an hour from cut to finish! And that includes pressing!
Kelly Nicholas –
This was the perfect piece to move my wardrobe from Summer to Fall. I made a french terry version for my daughter, and a light weight one for myself. The assembly is super quick and easy to follow. One hour from start to finish and we were ready to hit the door! The drape of the pattern creates a beautiful silhouette around your body and is perfect for cozy knits or more elegant coverup pieces.
Jess Boaz-Head –
This is the fastest pattern to put together! It’s super quick, very fashionable, and great for keeping warm on a chilly day. It would also be a great bathing suit cover-up in the warmer months. Great pattern.
Ana Inês Barros –
The quickest sew ever. And the best you can do this cardigan for every season. It works with most of the fabrics. Love it too much. Just amazing
Suzie Marie –
I love this pattern!! It is such a quick and easy sew I was able to cut out and sew 4 in a few hours. I love how it creates such a comfy and beautiful product. This is the perfect cardigan to wear around the house or dress up and wear out. I know I will have many of these in my wardrobe.
Nadine Simard –
This was a very quick project and very easy to complete. This will be perfect for the cold nights during the winter.
Bernadette Aitken –
This blouse has very easy to follow instructions and many options for finishing it. I appreciated the detailed photos and notes. My blouse fit as expected from the measurements given. I like the fit and feel. I used a light weight cotton. I know it will become a staple in my wardrobe.
Clare Bowes –
“This is a lovely blouse which can be worn for work, casual or dressed up, you have different style options. I made size XL with a polycotton print simple short sleeves (pleated) and plain collar.
It’s a great sew if you want to advance from beginner to intermediate, take each step at a time.”
Jennifer Schonhaar –
Ok. So I didn’t read the pattern closely enough about fabric type and bought some knit that I fell in love with. I didn’t realize until I was into the sew that I should have used a woven. So, I think this was a little harder because of that, but now that I’m finished I LOVE this top and want to make another one with woven fabric. I did long sleeves and just a collar no tie. My daughter thinks the buttons aren’t a great match so I’ll probably switch those out at some point. Otherwise this is a great addition to my closet. Thank you.
Lisa Corriveau –
My Madison blouse turned out great! Instructions were clear & easy to follow & I was able to make some fit changes easily–a wide shoulder adjustment, as well as grading from M at the bust to XL at the hips. Folding under the gathered parts at the shoulder, back & chest to create French seams is very fiddly, but well worth the clean finish. The blouse is really lovely in a soft drapey rayon & has a great retro feel to it. Can’t wait to wear it out with a pencil skirt.
Charlene Lee –
This blouse has a very nice finished look and can be casual or dressy depending on the choice of fabrics. I like that it can be made into a dress also. It’s nice to have 2 patterns in one. This pattern was an enjoyable sew.
Sandy Simpson –
What a lovely blouse pattern. The gathers on the bodice and on the sleeves make it feminine without being boxy and oversized. It has lovely shaping through the waist and hips and looks great with both jeans and tucked in with a straight skirt. A very versatile pattern
Nali Nali –
Wrap Trousers is such an amazing pattern! I love how the front panel is constructed to conceal without using a zipper. The trousers hang on the natural waist and fit very comfortably. Thank you for the great design!
Adelle Pears –
I have been looking for wrap trousers for ages! This is brilliant, I made the slouchy pocket version but will definitely be trying the straight leg and one of each too! As always the instructions are brilliant and they come together really quickly.
Jenna Page –
“These wrap trousers are fab!
As always a great pattern to follow for amazing results! I love the tie wrap front it’s such a cute twist to add a bit of glam to your trousers! Great sized pockets and used a cheeky snap instead of a button for a super easy finish! These will be a great addition to my autumn wardrobe! “
Jemma Tredinnick –
I love this pattern and think the wrap is very stylish indeed. I used the ties because I wanted them to look deliberately “wrap”. I made the size small in a funky print for a fun pair of trousers. They would also make a pair of smart work trousers with the right fabric but for these I would probably use the button fastening. They were quite easy to make and the instructions for the French seams and the pocket were very easy to follow.
Liz Faber –
These trousers are super comfy, and great at hiding the extra kilos quarantine has gifted you, all while still looking like you actually got dressed! Some parts were a little tricky, but by taking my time and following the instructions and pictures they came together well. I’m already planning my next pair.
Tania Watson –
An unusual design which is quick and easy to see. Looks fab and feels comfortable to wear.
