I LOVE this pattern – I cannot remember the last time I owned a garment that fit my bust properly, and this one is perfect. The instructions are clear, and the step-by-step photos make this so easy to sew!

What a pleasure to sew, this will be replacing all of my uncomfortable store bought bras!

This pattern is pretty easy to sew with great directions. The hardest part is getting the right fit for your own body. The shoulders were too short for me, so I needed to lengthen them and scoop out the too wide for me armscyes. Sewing the hooks on neatly can be a challenge too. The best part is that this sports bra feels very supportive even without cups or power mesh!

This is the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. It takes a little bit to find your exact sizing as each body and shape is different, but the rewards of getting the fit spot on are so worth it! I love how supported I feel. Fabric definitely makes a difference. My muslin (although too small) felt perfect with thin, 2-way stretch knit. The one that fit was thicker in general because I repurposed a polo shirt and felt a little bulkier. I’m not one to wear “”just”” a sports bra so that makes a difference when you are putting a shirt over it. If I was comfortable wearing it without a shirt, it would be fine! So make sure you think about fabric when making this pattern.
Having said all that, this is SO comfortable to wear and I can see myself making more, one for every day of the week! =)

This is such a beautiful pattern. I love the way it came together so easily. The directions are great, guiding you through the construction of a bra. I love the little details and seams. It’s also nice having the double bra hooks in the back- I love having that extra adjustability for support when it’s needed. My next step is to figure out how to hack a dress with this same beautiful neckline and cup detailing ;).

I’ve been hesitant to try making a bra. I feel like my shape is odd, and my measurements don’t necessarily match my perception of my size (aka, I don’t really have boobs, how do I measure at a D cup?!?!) But I took a shot at it with some scrap fabric and I was pleasantly surprised at how easily it came together and how well it fit! I may play around with the size a bit still, but the chart was surprisingly accurate and the pattern was easy to follow as long as I paid attention to the labels!

The Sports Bra was way easier than I thought it would be. I’ve wanted to make on for a long time. I even have 2 other patterns that I bought but have never tried. The instructions are very thorough. It is very comfortable. I will never have to buy expensive sports bras now that I have this pattern.

You guys! Sister-sizing is incredible!! I made my muslin the size that I thought I measured, and the cups felt all right. But I was going to need to adjust the width of the center piece (the straps felt too set-apart), he length of the straps (slightly too short), and the tightness under the arms (they were too tight). Instead of making all those adjustments and making another muslin that might fit somewhat better, I went down a band size and up a cup size. And it was magic!! The new bra fit me exactly right, with no other modifications 🙂 And it is so comfortable and supportive. I will wear this one all the time. RP is amazing!!

This bra came together really easily & has great design features such as the double clasps & moulded cups!

A very enjoyable piece to sew. All the curves of each pattern piece fit and flow perfectly together. Provides enough support for my run!
Donna Lowe –
I love this bra. It was much easier than anticipated. The fit is wonderful. I have already made two and two more to make. Wonderful!!
Maja Rus –
The pattern has potential. First I made a muslin to see where do I need alterations. I figured out I had to lengthen the waistband and straps. Then I sew in the selected fabric. My new bra is awesome 🙂

This is a fun pattern to make! You can get a great fit with the different cup and band sizing. If you want extra support, make sure you line it with powernet. Have fun with this pattern!
Jamie Adler –
Wow! I sewed a sports bra and it fits my 11-year old daughter beautifully. She wants more and this mother is happy with the results of an easy-to-follow pattern. Thank you, Rebecca Page & team!

A great piece to learn how to make a sports bra. Sports bras are so expensive. You can make one so much more affordable. I did a 44 D and it was too small. I did not have enough elastic to try again. But I will as soon as I can.

I have never tried to make any underwear before but Rebecca Page have provided excellent instructions as always and some invaluable help on measuring/sizing and adjusting to fit. This was a really fun project to make and I look forward to making many more, I think it’s going to be a great way to use up some of my ‘scraps’ in the future!

This is a reasonably simple to make bra that is very comfortable. For someone like me with a small bust I think I’d like to try adding some foam to the cups to give me more shape, however for those with a larger bust I think it would be perfect.
Lisa Corriveau –
The Sports Bra was a fairly quick sew. I followed the measurements carefully, despite the size being different from what I’d normally buy in ready-to-wear, & it fit well. The style is fairly high under the arms & at the neck, providing generous coverage & containment for active pursuits.

I love the sizing options that give you the absolute best for for your body.

As a large cup (K), I was hesitant to purchase this pattern. Well, first bra is complete and fits like a glove! I have been making bras for many years and this one is the best with no tweaking. Thank you!
Walton Philomena –
The Sports Bra from Rebecca Page is a comfy V-neck, fully-lined sports bra. With full coverage, this bra has exposed underbust elastic, under wires and shaped cups. It also has a lovely keyhole back which is secured with two hook and eye closures. Designed for beginners, it has really good instructions to help you tackle the techniques you need to complete this make.

This bra fits so well. Due to the way the cups fit, you have no side boob issues nor any rolls. For someone with chronic pain, it is amazing. The double hook/eye closures take the pressure point from one spot in the back and spread it out as well as gently putting your shoulder blades into their proper form. This is the only bra I can actually wear for more than an hour. Literally. I was concerned I would not be able to get the bra on by myself, but with the distance and design of the two back closures it was no problem at all and did not require a lot of strength to pull it up over my shoulders. The wider shoulder straps are also another huge plus as they disperse the pressure so you don’t wind up with neck/shoulder pain. The directions are easy to follow and as long as you mark each piece’s “right” side it goes together quickly and easily. Another plus–you can completely sew the entire bra on a regular sewing machine with a zig zag.

Finally a bra pattern that is comfy, fits and gives support. The sizing actually relates to my size. It was an easy make and finally got it really right. I can’t thank you enough for your pattern. X
