Lisa Giorcelli –
Gorgeous pattern! Such a simple sew that results in the most beautiful twirly skirt. My daughters new favourite skirt!
Lauri Meinhardt –
This is a fabulous pattern. Easy to read and a rather quick sew. With pocket and length options there’s is so much you can do with this pattern!
Kirsty Bucholz –
I Love this Skirt! Perfect fit
Tania Watson –
With the right choice of fabrics this makes an elegant stylish skirt which can be tailored to your taste with classic buttons or something fun and funky. Pockets or no pockets and do you match your pockets or make them standout. The sew itself is straight forward as long as you are organised with your panels especially if your fabric doesn’t have a right side. But I love this skirt and is now going to be a firm favourite in my autumn wardrobe.”
Mawarita –
My first time doing panel skirt. Love the outcome.
Scarlett Sims –
This was a quick and easy skirt to make and was a great way to showcase some fun fabric and buttons I had in my stash. I really appreciate that the instructions included methods for making it both with and without a serger.
Terri Pettigrew –
I absolutely love the Sonia. I made mine in a medium weight twill. The pattern was a perfect fit for me and I was looking for the perfect circle skirt pattern for my size. I plan to make many more of these. Absolute a 10 out of 10!
Krystyna Czerwiec –
Skirt is easy to sew and look beautiful on the body. It has classic line but patterns gives you few options to altered it. Sonia is something you must have in your wardrobe, especially in long version for upcoming fall.
Frances Lancaster –
I really love the style of the Sonia skirt! The style with the fabric I chose gives it a vintage look that I love. And with lots of options to customize using optional top-stitching, pockets, or belt loops and belt, it can take on a variety of looks from just one pattern! I will definitely be making this one again!
Chaney Mobley –

I completely fell in love with the finish of this skirt. I love long skirts and this one was excellent to add to my closet with the front buttons.
Shirley Soon –
Awesome pattern! I love that this skirt is such a quick sew and received many compliments wearing it! Definitely will be making more in different lengths.

Gaylen Matlock –
I was really excited to sew this skirt up. I bought some mid weight denim and decided to so twinning skirts for my daughter and granddaughter. All in all, these were quick, fun and easy to put together and I will most likely make it again – maybe even making the girls another twinning outfit in courdory for the holidays.
Kainui Nihipali –
The Sonia is an easy skirt to put together. It has good flow & twirl ability. The pockets are a great addition.
Agnes Robinson –
I love it. I would recommend a shorter style for little girls to make running around easier for them. My daughter find it a little long for her. I don’t think it is but I understand she is sporty and likes more freedom to move around.
Intan Sofiano Sofia –
I love this pattern. The fit, the length & instruction. Just have to makesure waist in correct size. will make again. overalls ❤
Agnes Robinson –
I love this skirt and will make more. I also made one for my daughter.
Sue Parrott –
This is a fun skirt to create! Choose a fabric with some drape so it swirls around your legs! This skirt can be made in a variety of fabrics and prints. Really, the sky is the limit with this skirt pattern. Choose your size based on your waist measurement and upper hip. After it falls from the top of your hip, it’s very forgiving. I used a crepe with great drape and fall-like colors. I covered my own buttons too to give this a unique touch.
Francisca Beitler –
With this skirt you can be creative with fabrics and colors. It has 8 panels, so you can choose one, two or even a rainbow of fabrics and colors.
One of the things I love of this skirt is the unexpected swing it has.
Elmarie van Deventer –
I have tried similar patterns before which were daunting but this was easy to follow and well thought out. The instructions make it an easy sew
Suzanne Schoen –
The pattern is very pretty, with a beautiful drape due to the number of panels. It gives a bit of a vintage look to it.
Julie Allen Lovegrove –
I’m really happy with the way this skirt turned out. I made the midi length, which came to below my calf. I love the length! This was a fun sew, relatively simple and straightforward. I really like how it looks on, very flowy and feminine, without being too frilly or puffy. Can easily be dressed up or down, and is a perfect pattern for summer or winter, depending on the fabric used. I measured between XL and XXL, so I cut out the XXL, but needed to take the seams in quite a bit, so could’ve gone with the XL. I made mine out of a light denim/chambray, and I can pair it with just about anything! Perfect! I will get lots of wear out of this one!
Dora Serrano –
The Sonia Skirt is a great pattern for advanced beginners or intermediate sewists. It comes with easy to follow instructions and my only advice would be for you to mark the different panels of the skirt. Otherwise you may get lost in between them.
The pattern comes in maxi, midi and knee length.
Virginie Bissinger –
Pretty easy sew and the result is gorgeous. I plan to make 2 or 3 more of this skirt.
I just made a midi length to have a maxi length skirt (I’m 5″4).
This pattern is great for Fall but also for the rest of the year. Love it.
Jackie Henderson –
Great staple piece for your wardrobe that gets more twirl and swish the longer you go!! This piece can be casual or dressy! So versatile it will become a go to in your closet!!
Cordelia Henderson –
This skirt is definitely one of the staples in my closet. I love it!
Naomi Cash –
Such a lovely pattern that you can dress up for a night out, or dress down for brunch. The pattern was fairly easy to put together, and sewing it was quite quick!
Leisa Green –

Betsy Torruella –
My granddaughter loved her new “princess” skirt!
Agnes Bobak –
It was quite an easy sew with a great tutorial. My daughter loves it! Thanks Rebecca!
Agnes Bobak –
It is not a very quick sew but it is worth the time. But if you are confident with button holes and hemming huge curvy line you will make it 🙂 The tutorial is very understandable and a great help. I definately make another one for my daughter
Daphné Geeraerd –
It’s an easy and quick sew, perfectly for beginners.
Kayler Griffiths –
Beautiful skirt, perfect for any time of year. Love the way it sits & was fairly quick for me to make.
Frieda Flavianu –
The techniques used is basics and straightforward, which makes this pattern very suitable for a beginner. I was not sure off what I was up too until I saw it on my young lady. I fell in love with the end results and I am looking forward to making mine.
Frieda Flavianu –
After making my daughters Sonia, I could not wait for mine to be finished. I ended up making two. One with all the options and another with no options. I love the fit, the comfort and the overall look of the skirt. Such great skirt to wear under the hot African Sun. I will be making more of these.
Shirley Soon –

Peggy Pazera Cooke –
Great 8 gore circle skirt, with lovely French seams and button detail down the front. If you don’t do the belt and find the waist a little bit, adding a wee bit of elastic at the back of the waist works in a snap!
Tasha Larson –
Great skirt, fast sew! I made with a heavier fabric and it added a Stafford wife drama that I love.
Pauline Kelly –
I love, love, love this! Every time I have worn it I get compliments. The style is modern and comfortable and can be made in three different lengths. I also appreciated the easy to follow instructions. I have already bought fabric for my second Sonia.
