Quilt As Desired Class: How To Quilt As Desired (Includes Pattern)

Add to cart

This class will teach you how to pick your quilt as desired design. No more stressing about your quilting and worrying about ruining your quilt!

Quilt as Desired’ appears in almost every pattern, yet many people struggle to choose a design for their projects.

You work hard for hours, cutting and sewing until your quilt top is done. Then the little voice in your head says, “how are you going to quilt it?” and suddenly cleaning the oven is the most appealing thing in the world!

We’re not exploring the psychology of why this happens, but are looking at five all-over quilting designs that are fast, easy, and look great on almost any quilt.

It’s more than saying, “draw a grid, make some lines and then sew”; you’re still stuck with the thought of “what if the look spoils my quilt?”. You need to visualise how a design will look on your quilt. To help, I’ll show you example quilts, digitally mocked-up to give you an idea of the possibilities.

Grab your fabric, thread, and sewing machine and let’s see what we can create.

Note – You will not be making a quilt in this class, but quilting your already finished project! If you don’t have one, you can follow along to make a small sampler square.
