This Lullabye Panties pattern teaches you how to make a lace ruffled diaper cover for your baby or toddler. Cute panties keep your child’s diaper or nappy out of sight and, very handily, can also help hold in any spillages! It is also great for a newborn photo session prop. The diaper cover is gathered around the waist and legs and the lace ruffles are then stitched in three layers. The finished frilly infants’ garment can be worn with cloth diapers or disposable nappies. Just sew one size up if your child wears cloth.
All the cleverly-designed self-finishing seams means the raw edges are neatly tucked away out of sight. As such there is no fraying fabric for little hands to pick at!
