How do PDF/ digital patterns work? Simply download, print, and sew. You’ll need a free Adobe Acrobat reader program and any home printer (or a nearby copy shop for A0 printing). Once you’ve printed the pieces, tape or glue them together. You’ll find an easy-to-follow how-to guide inside the pattern instructions, plus support in our Facebook group.

My girls have requested a Keeley of their own too. In my experience getting a preteen and a 7 year old to agree is no mean feat so it must be good.

    I made size S with jacquard knit fabric. The sizing is quite fitted for a cardigan, I recommend size up especially when you want to use this in the fall and winter time for layering purposes.

    For years I had a favorite long cardigan. The sleeves were just a tad too long, not an easy find when you’re 6’1″. That cardigan was in desperate need of replacement and along came the Keeley cardigan. This pattern is such an easy sew (really incredibly fast to make). I made the midi version and hacked the pockets a bit to make it look like my old favorite cardigan. I’m not sure the one I made now will be my new favorite cardi (the fabric is a bit itchy), but I will make another version with less itchy fabric for sure. I love the pattern! And probably that one will be my new favorite cardigan.

I love the fit, sometimes midi cardis can feel and look a bit robe-like but this one does not at all. I can’t wait to try another with a different type of knit and contrasting pockets and neck band for a custom look. This is a great stash buster for all of those sweater knit sales!

    Keeley was so simple and looks great! The sizing was perfect! It is definitely beginner friendly, but I think doing the buttons and button holes would make it a bit more challenging. I chose snaps for the sake of time and ease and I think that was an awesome option to provide. My arms are a bit longer than average, so the sleeve length ended up being a little off, but I generally push up all long sleeves regardless. The instructions were super easy to follow and I didn’t have any issues making this beautiful cardigan.

    The Keeley Cardigan is a quick, satisfying sew. It comes in two lengths, hip and duster. I made the hip length in a black cupro. You can use any type of knit fabric you like for the look you want. Keeley can be a lightweight cardigan or a sweater. French Terry would also work. My cupro version is a nice lightweight all year round garment.

I added buttons, but will likely wear it open most of the time and may leave the buttons off in future sews. Would work well in a variety of knits, depending on how warm you want it to be.
