“Absolutely loved this sew. It was exactly what my daughter wanted in a duster cardigan, and it fits perfectly.” – Nikki Loans
“The Keeley Cardigan is a great pattern for beginners. It has very well written instructions with helpful hints along the way. The pattern offers different hem and sleeve lengths as well as an option to include buttons, which is a feature that sets this cardigan apart from other cardigan patterns on the market.” – Deb Sendelbach
“I love quick, simple sews that produce classic wardrobe staples, and Keeley definitely fits the bill! The length and pocket options, as well as the ability to choose various closures – or none at all! – mean that you can make several unique styles from this pattern (always a win in my book).” – Brandi Labonte
There are a fantastic range of options… Choose from two lengths (top and midi), two sleeve lengths (long and forearm), optional side vents and patch pockets to create the perfect button up cardi!
Including all sizes from newborn to 12 years and XXS to 5XL, the Keeley is a versatile sew. It can be made up in a duster style, as a short cardi for layering in the cooler months, or even in a super lightweight fabric as a swimsuit cover up.
You can use any weight knit with a minimum stretch of 30% for your Keeley, but will get the best results with a medium weight. Some great fabric choices are sweater knits, jersey, stretch fleece, and stretch French terry. Warmer and heavier fabrics such as sweater knits, hacci knits, stretch wool, and interlock will give a snugger, cosier look. There’s a full list of supplies and fabric requirements in the gallery to the left (scroll through the photos).
