So comfy! So easy to make and the pockets are perfect!
Michelle Talaski –
Quick and easy pattern – pattern itself went together very well. I did personally have to adjust for petite height and my advice to anyone else would be to take some off of the legs AND off of the cuffs (just take the same amount off the top and bottom cuff area). Other then a height issue, the instructions were clear and easy to follow and the finished garment came out as expected.

I stitched this up because I wanted a pair of comfy pants that I could translate from lounging to working. I find them easy to dress up or down and love the different looks I can get when I cuff the legs. The pattern was very easy to follow and everything fit together nicely. The ribbing I used had very good recovery but I found I still needed the additional elastic in the waistband to keep them up near my waist. I like how high the waist is on these!

I definitely stepped outside of my comfort zone with sewing pants (always the pants!) and I’m glad I did. The Brooklyn Joggers are an easy sew and are very comfortable. I don’t personally care for the bottom cuff so I might omit that together on a future pair but other than that I love them!
Cara Girven –
This is a great jogger pattern! I’ve tried other joggers in the past, but they never fit right. These go together so easily, and I love how the pocket is constructed…it seems to take out bulk in the thigh area, which is great, as I don’t need any additional bulk there! The tall cuff is another fun feature. The pattern is well drafted, and the instructions take you through it step-by-step, so a beginner could easily make these pants.

This was my first time making pants so I was a little nervous, although I needn’t have been as the pattern was really easy to follow! I made a pair for both my 4yo son and 2yo daughter, I sized up for my daughter as I figure she’ll have a growth spurt soon but in hindsight I would have made the correct size as it is a really quick pattern to make, particularly the second time round. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for comfortable pants that are cute, practical and quick sew.

Lovey easy make pattern, I made a dressy pair but could easily make this pattern in a sweat material for lazy days. I found the instructions, as always, really easy to follow and have had requests for others to be made.

Overall the pattern is well explain and the result is really confortable. I will make an other one smaller for me and spend the summer in these pants.

Such conmfortable joggers ! Loved how they fall, the loose fit. Always a pleasure to sew a RP pattern, some minor adjustment for the waist on our part, but all in all, great pattern and will do it again for sure !
Florence Taylor –
Fast sew, detailed instructions and satisfied finished results.

Wow! I am NOT a joggers person but after seeing some photos of these made in lovely knit fabrics I decided to have a go – whats the worst that would happen?! I will be making these again and again! Probably my choice of fabric but they came out a little big for me, however when i modelled them for my husband he said they looked like they were shop bought (thats big compliment to me). I made him try them (although this is a ladies pattern im tall) and now he wants some for his martial arts class as theyre super comfy and dont flap about on your legs!
The pattern was really easy to follow, ive never made any kind of trouser before and the photos and instructions were so clear and helpful. I added 5cm on to the length (between bottom of main leg and cuff) as im taller than average and the finished length was great and so easy to change. A great pattern to have as a staple-so easy to adapt and change to any body shape or height.
Im so proud of what i was able to make – and my next pair will be a perfect fit too!!

Great knit sew! The perfect alternative to leggings or track pants. I love the cuffs and the harem style really appeals. Comfort wear at its best.
