Trust Rebecca! For my first pair of pants EVER I was a little nervous. Especially around the holidays and especially with a pattern with the word slim in the title. I’ve probably never been associated with that word ever in my life. So I sized up, and that was a mistake. My pair turned out great, and exactly 1 size too big almost everywhere. But for my first muslin pair of pants, I consider it a big success. Directions were very straightforward which is so important for multiple techniques I had never tried before, and after taking in my pants and adding a little to the back darts I am proud to say that I have made my first pair of wearable pants! I see many more in my future.

Loved this pattern! I was a bit worried about the fly as I’ve always been too scared, but the instructions are written really well with great pics to help you along the way. I’ve had so many compliments about these cargo’s and I can’t wait to make some more!

Great pattern. Thank you so much for the “Boy” option. He loves them and as you can see from the size it is very hard to find pants to fit him. I will be making more.
Elyse Clarke –
I was so excited to try these! I went with a stretch denim and left off the optimal cargo pockets for some really cute skinny jeans. The instructions get you through the ‘scary’ bits for a great result. I especially love the fake fly.
Lisa Corriveau –
After having made another pair of Rebecca Page pants (the Jo Jeans) with front pockets & a full fly, these pants were so simple. Once I’d prewashed the fabric & put the pattern together, it took a day of sewing to make each pair. The fit is really comfy made with stretchy fabric & they feel like leggings or jogging pants, but look a little more stylish. Also pockets! Who doesn’t want more pockets? I love having six pockets & so does my rock collecting kiddo. 🙂 I’ll definitely be sewing more of these for both my kids as they grow.
