What a fun sew! I loved all the options to really make this a personalized gift! You can make it simple or really go all out on this!
Jennifer Galea –
I really liked this pattern. my boy is in love with it. its been hard to get pics because HE ALWAYS HAS IT AND WONT LET ANYONE TOUCH IT. The only thing I would say is perhaps add some more info on placement of the dino spikes how many etc. Not a deal breaker because you can always use your own creativity
Beth Partian –
Made it yesterday and it is already a favorite. What a wonderful and quick sew.
Anien Salomons –
My son loves his dragon! One of his fave stuffed toys in his bed.
The pattern gives you so many options and customization
Susan Anderson –
This pattern was so much fun! I love all the options. It makes it very easy to make it just the way you want. I can’t wait to make more. The directions were easy to follow making the dragon a simple project!
Kyra Delaney –
Loved this sew. The directions are really straightforward. I made mine with sequins so i left the face details off but the directions walk you through every step of the way. Love how customized you can make it. Perfect stash buster project.
An Staute –
Very fun sew where you can be very creative with! The perfect gift too!
Debra Rigsby –
This is a great sew if you want a way to improve sewing curved lines, at least the dino version. Very easy, just read the directions and follow them carefully.
Michelle Wellstead –
What a wonderful free pattern! My grandson loved the finished product. It was my first ever softie/pillow and was a little more fiddly than I thought but I love a challenge and love to try new techniques so was a lot of fun to do. All fabrics were from my stash as well so a great stash buster, I even sewed most of it on holidays in my caravan. All in all a fabulous free pattern with so many variations, an absolute joy to make.
Malorie McClennon –
Fun cute way to boost your sewjo and make a little one happy. Easy to customize and a great way to use up scraps.
Lisa Caro –
I found this such a lovely and easy pattern! I was so glad because between Easter and all the madness of April, it was quick to whip up for a friends little baby boy. I chose to make the dinosaur with complementing blue fabrics but used felt for the spikes, toes and facial features which I had stitched on as I’m not a fan of sewing such small things with my machine.
I will definitely be making another of these soon as we have now got some baby boys around us.
Karla Holmes –
My son is obsessed with Dinosaurs! SO when I saw this I know it would be the perfect gift for him. Its an easy sew but very rewarding. Im gonna have to make a few more of this for birthdays! Love it.
Dani Arthur –
A simple sew that is so easy to personalise and make in so many styles! I really enjoyed this simple sew with not too much to print, my 7 year old son even chose fabrics, planned where the spikes would go and cut most of it out! I love that just choosing to stuff it more or less can mean you can make it a pillow or a toy and that it can be a dinosaur, a dragon or a hybrid of both! Perfect birthday present idea for that dino lover in your life!

Linda Berendsen –
A lovely handsew project. I was a bit overwhelmed in the beginning, but as soon as I understood how the pattern came together, it all fell into place. I’m so in love with my little dragon, it’s almost a shame that I have to give it away. My girls are now asking for a unicorn, so that will be next on my project list. 🙂
Jamie Adler –
This is an easy project. Wonderful for beginners, especially children. Choosing its options and colors was a fun moment between my daughter and I! Thank you for this fabulous toy!
Karin Williams –
This is a lovely pattern with endless possibilities. Make a dinosaur or a dragon, or why not a dragosaur?! I would probably rate the pattern advanced beginner, or possibly confident beginner rather than just beginner.
Joan Edmondson –
I made the Dino Pillow for my dino-loving daughter, and she loves it! Construction was easy and the directions were clear. I would recommend using regular poly-fill to stuff it. I used shredded poly-foam and it ended up looking a little lumpy. The pillow is adorable though and has a ton of options to customize it!
Brittney McCann –
This pattern was easy to follow and easy to sew up! The option for either a dragon or dinosaur is very nice; it’s like getting two patterns in one.
Kelly Davis –
Great pattern! Directions easy to follow, and loved the fabric options for the pattern. My boy’s loves their pillows!!
Christine Burrows –
This is a lovely pattern to sew. I love a hand sew project that I can pick up in an evening. I chose to add all the spines and horns, etc and it is quite a lot to do. Of course, you do not have to add them all and you really can personalise your dinosaur / dragon.
