This childrens pillowcase top sewing pattern is very easy to sew and could literally be made from a pillowcase! You only need half a yard of fabric to whip up this very quick sew! Plus it has the option to tie bows on both shoulders or just one.
This pattern is an excellent scrap buster but also a wonderful up-cycling project to breathe new life into spare pillowcases! Add ribbon, ruffles, bows, buttons, or any other extra extras you might like! The creativity possibilities are endless! You can make up a brilliantly simple, but extremely cute top or a tunic with a little bit of added length.
All the seams are cleverly designed to be self-finishing which means all the raw edges are neatly tucked away out of sight so there is no fraying fabric for little hands to pick at!
