You can, quite literally, make this easy-to-sew childrens pillowcase dress sewing pattern from a pillowcase! You need minimal fabric to whip up this very quick sew! Plus it has the option to tie bows on both shoulders or just one.
The Emily Dress is an excellent scrap buster with a cute ruffle along the bottom and ribbon bows on the shoulder. This sewing pattern is a wonderful up-cycling project to breathe new life into spare pillowcases! It also has plenty of room for embroidery, appliqué, or decoration such as ribbon, ruffles, bows, buttons, or any other extra extras you might like!
All the seams are cleverly designed to be self-finishing which means all the raw edges are neatly tucked away out of sight so there is no fraying fabric for little hands to pick at!
