This free DIY peacock costume includes a tutu and a mask pattern for lots of dressing up fun! The instructions given are for how to complete it on a sewing machine, but you could also use a hot glue gun if you prefer. If you use a glue gun though, I’d recommend you secure the last little details with a needle and thread to make sure they stay in place.
Skill Level – Beginner
- The tutu can be made to fit any size. Instructions and measurements are given for approximate sizes newborn to 12 years, plus instructions on how to customize to any size including adult
- Instructions and pattern pieces are given for one size mask which will fit most children aged 2 to 10 years. However you could scale the mask pattern pieces to fit any age, including adults.
Fabrics – Suitable for non-fraying fabrics only such as tulle and felt.

Format – This trim-free pattern is a downloadable PDF and comes in A4 or US letter printable sizes. An A0 format (pattern pieces only) is also included should you wish to have your pattern printed professionally. PDF Layers allow you to select and print only the size/s you want.
