Skill Level – Beginner
Sizes – Each ornament is approximately 2-3 inches tall. The finished calendar is 20 x 35 inches.
Options – There are three options for how to assemble the tree (a solid tree, layers or individual branches), and two options for the pockets (either 4 strips of 6 pockets, or 24 individual pockets).
Fabrics – You’ll need various scraps of a non-fraying fabric such as felt for the ornaments, plus 24 short strips of ribbon and 24 buttons. For the calendar, you’ll need one larger piece of non-fraying fabric 20 x 35 inches for the backing and approximately 15 x 20 inches for the tree. For hanging you will also need a 30 inch strip of ribbon or twine and a 24 inch long piece of dowel. Plus any trim or extra decoration you want to add! Serger/overlocker NOT required.
Format – This trim-free pattern is a downloadable PDF and comes in A4 or US letter printable sizes. An A0 format (pattern pieces only) is also included should you wish to have your pattern printed professionally. PDF Layers allow you to select and print only the size/s you want.
