“One of the best parts of this pattern is the potential for customization. My son wanted a doll that looked like one of his aunt’s and I was easily able to fulfil that desire.”

I had so much fun creating these mix and match felt dolls with my kids! They loved picking out fabrics to use for the clothing and are playing with them 24/7. They also fit perfectly into the RP dollhouse quiet book!

These Felt Dolls are adorable! They are so much fun to make and even more fun to play with. I love the detailed stitches on the clothes which make them very realistic. A fabulous weekend project that creates a fun kids toy that even I want to play with!

Felt dolls is such a fun pattern to make. You can always add more clothes or shoes or hair to the doll, and you can make as much as you want and in any color you wish.

Making the felt doll, hairs and clothes was a mindful way to spend a Sunday. The pattern is easy to work with. I used as many bright colours as i could from a stack of felt I’d bought 2 years ago. I never knew what to make with the felt until now. Absolutely fantastic way to use up and smaller pieces of felt you have. There’s plenty of options for clothes. I’m in love with the way the hair slides onto the top of the head. Highly recommended this pattern.

Great little make from felt. Amazing scrap buster for the clothes. Easy to sew by hand or machine.

My doll clothes had alot of hand embroidery details. I enjoyed bringing each outfit to life.

I love these dolls. They will make a great present for any children in your life. They also work well with the felt food and are a great size for the quiet book (I’m going to have to add a page to my book with a wardrobe for all the clothes).

This was such a fun activity for me and my preschooler. She had a lot of fun choosing the colors of the felt for the hair and clothes. She can’t wait to play with it. As a sewing project, it was pretty simple. I used small-sized scraps of interfacing from other projects so it was a perfect way to use up those small pieces. The felt is more forgiving than other fabrics in my opinion so creating the finer detail of the clothing times is easier than one might think. I will definitely will make more for my daughter’s friends.

I found the Felt Dolls to be a Fairly easy pattern to follow, the directions were clear, patterns were marked and easy to read. I had a slight issue with my felt (user error) which was easily corrected. My grandchildren and I love the variety of hairstyles and clothes that were included in the pattern. We have plans to continue making more dolls and clothes as soon as the new patterned felt arrives. This play set can be used for girls and boys add a sword or a pirate hat, a coat of armor maybe even a prince and princess. This pattern is a keeper and will supply many hours of fun and imaginative play for children and their adult counterparts such as grandma, grandpa, dad, mom even brothers & sisters. The more the merrier. Fun Awaits a Creative Mind.

The hair design for these dolls is fabulous!! The dolls are easy to sew and can be made with scraps of fabrics on the felt so they match something the child wears, which is fun. One base doll can be a boy with one set of clothing and a girl with another. I did find it worked better if I put some KK2000 on the back of my pattern and then sewed around it and then cut it out. Tracing it did not work great. My silhouette did not like the felt so much either. I spray basted the fabric onto the felt and the pattern on to the top of the fabric. Sewed around it and then removed the pattern and put in the details with my sewing machine. I loved that I could use all different patters/etc and then would have it hidden by the back felt. The velcro holds everything on nicely too. In some spots, there was a bit too much detail and it made cutting things out nicely a bit more difficult.

loved it!

I’m still working on building the wardrobe, but my four dolls are happy sharing two hairstyles and one dress for now. I like how easy it is to build from the basic shapes and add details from my stash of ribbon, tulle, beads, and more! Next up a hand embroidered Hawaiian shirt with lazy daisy flowers.

I make special hospital gowns for children awaiting various types of transplants. Now I can make the doll with clothing that matches their gown.

I am having so much fun with this pattern! It is easy to customize the pieces. I found that a heavier weight felt works best for the doll and lighter weight works best for the clothes. Cute, cute!

I have had so much fun with this pattern! I made two sets as Christmas gifts for two of my granddaughters. After making up all of the given patterns, I found myself thinking of many variations that I could do to each. I added lots of bling and hand stitched embroidery to several pieces. The sets grew larger daily. I’m thrilled with the results and can’t wait to see their faces on Christmas morning!
