This is the free Portia Party Dress for 18-inch dolls. It’s a quick, easy and beautiful sew! There is a full version of the dolls’ Portia Party Dress that can be made in 4 lengths and in either woven or knit fabric with many more options. The knit and woven versions each have slightly different instructions and pattern pieces. The free knit version is more form fitting in its cut and just pulls on over the head. The woven version has more ease in the cut and has an invisible zipper in the side seam.

Sizes – 18-inch dolls’ sizing. See size chart for details.
Options – It includes ONE length option (knee length). There are two styles to the back. You can either have it so the back is completely open to the waist, or stitched half way up the back and then open to the neck. The back then fastens with either a ribbon or a thread loop around a single button.
Fabrics – This pattern is suitable for knit fabrics only. See the fabric requirements in the gallery for details. A serger/overlocker is optional but NOT required.
Format – This trim-free pattern is a downloadable PDF and comes in A4 or US letter printable sizes. An A0 format (pattern pieces only) is also included should you wish to have your pattern printed professionally. PDF Layers allow you to select and print only the size/s you want.
