The Kingston Jacket, a beautifully-finished dolls denim jacket pattern, is the perfect finishing touch for your little lady’s littler lady.
You can either use a serger for a quick finish, or instructions are included for an all-traditional denim jacket finish with hidden seams on a sewing machine.
This is the dolls version but it’s also available as a matching ladies and childs patterns so you can do matching “Mommy and Me” sets! You can get all the sizes in one sweet bundle PLUS the add on!
Skill Level – While the techniques used to construct this jacket are perfect for advanced beginners, the pattern instructions are very thorough and detailed, with lots of tips, so sewistas of all levels can follow them!
Sizes – 18-inch doll
- Five sleeve options: classic two piece long sleeves, half angel sleeves, trumpet sleeves, full bell sleeves and ¾ bell sleeves
- Optional side seam pockets
- Optional front pockets with flaps.
Fabrics – Denim however any medium weight woven fabric will work, and many heavier woven fabrics will work too. Great options are: denim, stretch denim, bull denim, low-pile corduroy, cotton canvas, twill, or even an old pair of jeans up-cycled.See the fabric requirements in the gallery above for yardage. A serger/ overlocker is optional but NOT required.
Format – This trim-free pattern is a downloadable PDF and comes in A4 or US letter printable sizes. An A0 format (pattern pieces only) is also included should you wish to have your pattern printed professionally. PDF Layers allow you to select and print only the size/s you want.
