Pattern was really easy. Would have like to make the lemons differently. The explanations were great and the photos spot on for beginners.

This was a fun project for a winter day. The citrus colors were a cheer-up! I wish it included a cross over shoulder strap and lining. I’ll be doing a video on my YouTube on how to add lining and a strap to a crochet pouch and use my finished “Lemon Lime” pouch as my sample! Here at Nanis Garden Boutique LLC I’m all about creating quality handcrafts using preowned supplies. In this case my stash on hand was yellow medium weight bulky yarn using a 3.75mm hook and 3ply crochet thread for lime wedges using a 2mm hook. These supplies created a pouch that was a 1/2” bigger than the original pattern specs! But hey, who doesn’t need more bag space?

This is a great pattern for a beginner. It is easy to follow and the photo instructions are incredibly helpful. The finished product is so pretty and versatile. I am using mine to keep my small tablet safe! It is also really easy to adapt to make it larger or smaller or to add more or fewer lemon slices.

A fairly simple pattern, but it does require some time, so don’t start too late. By choosing different colors, you can crochet your favorite citrus fruit.

The lemon slice pouch is an easy crochet pattern. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The result is a versatile pouch you can use or give to someone as a gift. Kids will love them for their coloring stuff, crocheters can put their needles in it and others can use it as a make-up-bag. And there will certainly be other uses!
