Franchesca Delgado Garced –
I loved the simplicity, yet versatility of this pattern. I put it together very quickly. This time I used a blush lightweight fabric that I could use as a day or night outfit, depending how I style it, but I plan to make a sporty one next with side trim. Amazing!
Pamela Munnerlyn –
I loved it. So easy to make and the instructions were so easy to follow. I love the way they fit and look. Great sew for anyone that wants a quick pair of paints.
Tomorrow Hughes Papaleo –
This was such a simple and quick sew. I was able to complete the sewing portion in just a few hours after work one evening. They are super comfortable and really cute. They can be pretty versatile as day wear, lounge wear, or active wear just depending on the fabric you choose. I plan to make plenty of these!
Stephanie Springer Leddy –

The Celine Trousers are a great slouchy pants pattern. I love the elasticized ankle cuffs, they look so cute with anything from sandals to tennis shoes. This is an easy sew (with fab French seams instructions!) and a great introduction to pants since they are a relaxed fit and thus don’t require a lot of fitting adjustments.
Catherine Murdock –
I enjoyed this pattern , I like the French seams & that’there is the serger finish option in the instructions also.
Heidi Gray –
Super easy, super fast!! Loved how quickly I could sew it up.
Angel Pooley –
This pattern is just amazing! My first pair of trousers went swimmingly and I have a feeling I’ll be making a lot more. Only thing I fight with is the elastic threading through waistband and ankle cuffs. Thank you so much! One of my favs x
Cindi Connors –

Manuela Zender –
Beautiful pattern. Its fast and easy to sew. The pants are comfortable. I made 2 one in a Rayon fabric where the legs are very wide and one in a size smaller out ofnknit fabric.
Perfect pattern for beginner.
Nikki Loans –
This was such a lovely basic pair of pants – should be a staple in every wardrobe.
Cindi Connors –
These were a super quick stressless sew! I used French terry and french seams. I love these trousers and am going to make many more!
Jane Hand –
First time I have ever made any type of trousers and I’m proud and relieved because the pattern was really simple and straightforward. I am 5”8 so I found the leg length a little short for me but I’m already finishing off another pair so I will lengthen them an inch or two. I often find trousers are short bodied for me so I was a little worried I would have to adjust them, but they fit fine, no adjustment needed. I made my first pair in a cotton blend fabric and they were a little structured, I’ve just made a second pair in viscose and they drape so much better. Really clear instructions, a lovely pattern to follow.
Irene Grimes –
Love these pants! They came together very quickly. In just a couple of hours, you have a brand new pair of trousers that can be dressed up or toned down for any occasion. The pattern is very easy to follow with step-by-step illustrated instructions. I will definitely make many more of these!
Gabriella Hägglund –

Dési Rée –
Awesome and super easy pattern. Can be made into sophisticated pants or just comfortable every day pants
Jenna Page –
My first time making trousers and an all round lovely experience!
Fit guides and instructions amazing as always. First time using elastic and jumped right into the waist band and cuffs, no bother at all. May need a little practice with ‘stitching the ditch’ but all in all a quick simple sew with perfect results! Will wear my Celine’s with pride, thanks for another great sew and more technique to add to my bag of tricks!
Ps my second sew with French seams, they are the best. Perfect professional finish ?
Ángel Pooley –
Amazing sew! My first pair of trousers and I felt so blessed to do them in 2 days (quickest project I’ve done) I will be sewing LOADSSS of these.
Nali Nali –
The Celine pants is gorgeous – comfortable and stylish. And did I mention it’s really easy to sew! I do like the elastic cuff which gave it a sporty look. For the side trims, I used corded bias tape. Pair with a matching top and I am ready to go partying in this outfit ! Definitely going to sew a few more.
mariz (verified owner) –
Super easy sew, but still very stylish. My friend allready requested a pair of them. I used a very thin denim. I sized up one size, because my waist is more muscular than the rest of me. Its a very comfy, non restricting sew. I love them!
Amy Kaczenski –
Beautiful fitting pants and super comfy!
Anna –

Virginia Leo –
Super easy sew! Maybe to easy, because I managed to sew the waistband on with the back seam in the front and then proceeded to put them on backwards!!?They were pretty snug in the back & huge in the front, but it was late and I just went to bed, then woke up around 2 & DUH! I took the waistband off the next day and shortened the rise 2″ all the way around and now they fit perfect!! When I found the green fabric I knew that they needed to be pajama pants and they are the most comfortable I have ever had.
Becca Stradling –
The Celine Trousers are a fun and easy sew. They are perfect for a beginner but I still learned a couple new things about fitting and sewing techniques.

The minute I put on these pants, I felt like I needed to throw out some Hip Hop moves. Super comfortable and secure feeling. I had also been searching for a great pattern for ladies rain pants and this pattern works perfectly! Such a money saver since adult rain pants can be so costly. Definitely recommend this pants pattern.

My first sewn pants ever and these sewed up like a dream, cant believe how easy they were to sew. Fit wasn’t a problem because of the elasticised waist and now I can’t wait to make up more in some plain linen colours, perfect for summer days.

Mireille Ribiere –
What a great easy pattern. Ideal for beginners to start their first sew and the results change when you take other fabric or strips. Love it will make a lot more of this
Kyra –
If you’re looking for woven pants with elastic these are great. The elastic is an inch wide so while it might be harder to thread it in hoping it’s less likely to twist in the casing. The steps are easy to follow and I love the final result.
I used decorative quilting cotton on mine so they look more like pajama pants to me but based on what you use these can be used for so many occasions.
Jamie Adler –
Super quick trousers to sew. I sewed the pants in one afternoon and then shortened them to sew some longer shorts for our 10 year old daughter. She loves her trousers. Thanks for this go-to pattern!
Clare Bowes –
Celine is a really easy to sew pattern, I usually opt for the French seams, but for these (I was impatient) I opted for normal sewing then overlocked the seams to finish them off.
Great step by step instructions keep you on track for a great pair of pants that can be made for casual or formal wear. I made mine in a Polycotton, with bias binding for the contrasting stripe.
So comfy to wear, especially if you don’t like tight waist bands (I can’t wear fitted waist bands at moment) and these are perfect for me as they are relaxed fit, so not tight around my hips.
Give them a go, perfect for a beginner to sew up, and if you haven’t tried French seams before the instructions include all the steps to follow, so boost your sewing skill level by trying them.
Happy sewing ?

Pam OFlynn –
Celine is a versatile pattern that can be dressed up with special fabrics or down for a relaxed fit. Detailed instructions and pictures make this a pattern for all levels of sewists!
Randie Rae Dodman –
I love this pattern! So ridiculously easy. The most complicated part is the drawstring. And, if you use the elastic that has the drawstring in it, no problem! I added pockets, because pants need pockets. I think pockets would still work with the trim, you would just need to be careful. Thanks for such an awesome, easy, versatile pattern!
Sheila Hlushak –
The comfy fit makes these good pants for yoga or the treadmill. Made mine from lightweight twill. Really need the no bottom elastic option so purchasers can see what they would look like without. And pockets, not many want to wear or go to the trouble to make pants without pockets.
Shelby Chubb –
These have a baggy casual feel that is perfect for lounge or sport wear. Perfect chance to add to any athleisure wardrobe! Very beginner friendly and come together quickly.
Stephanie Koehler –
Love, Love, Love so easy from putting the pattern together, to cutting and sewing. What a great beginner pattern. I love the accent strip down the side. I hacked mine with some inset pockets to be able to keep the side seam. I made it with a suiting material that kind of dresses it up but how the pattern is drafted they are so comfy.
SSeem Sing –
Very easy sew! Love the pattern
Tiffany Amos –
I love this pattern . This is a fun make and also one of the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever made . My favorite part of the Celine is the drawstring option and the elastic cuffed legs . This allows an easy transition from causal to dressy . I love them .
Vineeta –
Super duper comfort and super duper quick to sew. I made mine in linen and it looks so elegant.
Erin Jo –
Great pattern! Easy construction, great fit! *tip: make sure to check the pattern directions for height adjustments, if you have longer legs, to get the best fit for your body type! You’ll love them!

The City Joggers are a nice, quick sew. You can add elastic to the bottom for a more fitted jogger leg or leave it out for a straight leg. They are so comfortable to wear.
Emerald Murdoch –
I cut size 4 for the women and it seems to be bigger. I thought of sewing one size down for my second sew or even more. Generally, pattern is beginner friendly, very easy to sew.

Easy to sew pattern! I’ve made 3 pairs. I love the pockets.
Yolanda Woodland –
I absolutely love the city joggers. They are an easy sew, I also like that they are made for woven fabrics. It was hard to choose between the trim and pockets so I will be making more, because I love pockets, but for my first pair I chose the trim.
Urška Filipič –
I’ve been looking for a pattern like this for a long time. I like it because it’s for knits and woven. Although they are sporty, I made them out of linen and I must say they look really elegant.
Jasmine Chandler –
My favorite pants pattern so far!
Pamela Henderson –
My mom loved the City Joggers I made for her. She was looking for a comfortable, easy on easy off pant that is dressy enough to go out in. This fit the bill! I found a dressier stretch fabric that upgraded the look from loungewear. I have also made these in fleece for my grandkids and they are great that way too. I have made this pattern 4 times for 4 different generations!
Eline Ghesquiere –
Pattern is correct and instructions are clear. I need to make another waistband however because this one doesn’t hold up, I’ll use much firmer and broader elastic.
