Buy the pattern and you won’t regret it! Even if your kids might not need a cape right this minute, they will all of a sudden need one and you will be so happy you have a quick cape to create a beautiful piece with.

  2. Taryn Haynes-Smart (verified owner)

What a fun, easy and versatile pattern – you can create any number of incredible creatures or even make it as a plain cape.

  3. Amy Myers (verified owner)

It’s a pattern which you will use again and again because it is so adaptable. You can make it into whatever you like and as complex as you like. It will go wherever your imagination takes you. I like the fact you can make this pattern as complex and dramatic as you like, yet even in its simplest form it’s a very pretty item of clothing. It was also a very quick sew which is perfect for when I have the inevitable last minute ‘Mum I need a costume for tomorrow’!

Buy it! The pride of having deviated from the pattern (for the hood) and it’s still looking awesome!

Great costume, it can be virtually anything!

Easy, cute and perfect for children and also for parents who do not want to wear a costume for Halloween! Just a cape on and you are good to trick or treat with the kids!

This is a great pattern to get with Halloween coming up. It’s a good pattern to exercise your creativity. Whatever you can think of, your child could be. My son couldn’t decide between a fox and a shark so we decided to go with both. This pattern is also easy to sew up if you’re into last minute costumes.

It’s a super versatile pattern, can be used in so many ways using creativity, and if the decision is follow the directions you still have an amazing bird cape.

The feathers are a lot to cut out but be patient, once your pattern comes together you will be blown away!!

Whether you are a little bit creative or one to throw directions out the window, this pattern is for you.

This can become everything you want it to! Super clear, simple and easy for everyone. You can use a lot of different fabric, so it’s easy and can be cheap – you don’t have to spend lots of money yet you can have some wonderful results.

The sky is the limit with the Cape-tastic pattern! From owls and birds to dinosaurs and mice this pattern can guide you to create fabulous dress up pieces for your kids. Use the pattern as is or go off track and make it your own. Let your kids help pick fabrics and colors. It’s a great grow with me piece. This is a truly fun pattern.
