The Tie Shoulder Dress is such a comfy and cool sew for the hot weather. The design falls beautifully when paired with a flowy, drapey fabric, and the tiers showcase a border print perfectly. My dress will get tons of wear this summer!

Jemma Tredinnick –
This is a very easy pattern for a cool and loose summer dress. The frill is externally sewn on so it shows where you sew which gives it an extra edge of frill and is really cute. I sewed the size small in a lightweight poly cotton and it was hassle free. The shirring gives a really nice bodice top which is very comfortable and easy to wear.
Deb Sendelbach –

Kelly Tuttle –
What a beautiful summer dress. I made the shorter, shirred version and overall it looks just lovely. It sewed up quickly too which is always a plus!

I absolutely loved trying out shirring for the first time. The result was just beautiful. This dress will be worn many times over during the Summer. Thank you for such a cute and girly pattern!

I really enjoyed this dress pattern. It reminds me of some things my mom made for me when I was little. Shoulder tie pattern placement didn’t work for us, so I moved both front and back in towards center so they wouldn’t fall off my girls’ shoulders. I only made one tier and love it, but it might be a touch too short for my little kids. I might add a little length next time for them. My oldest has asked for the long one, which is nice to hear, even if I’m not looking forward to putting all the tiers together!
