I made the jumpsuit version from the add ons available and it is more amazing than I ever imagined!
By far my most adventurous sew to date. I started off a bit overwhelmed but as always I trusted in the amazing pattern and instructions and worked my way through each step and the end results are the most beautiful jumpsuit! The bodice is gorgeous, the ruffles sleeve option is a must have (so cute and very easy to create) and the trousers are a surprisingly easy add on with just a hand full of darts to create a very flattering bottom half to this stunning make! I can’t wait to try more of the add ons 🙂
Great pattern and with the right add ons and material choices could make anything from an every day outfit to a ball gown, the perfect holiday (and wedding) season pattern!!
Courtney Palmer –
What a gorgeous pattern! The deep bust on this dress while daring feels supportive, holds you in well enough that you can dance and have a good time without worrying about wardrobe malfunctions. I’ve received so many compliments about how this dress sits and how flattering it is, even for a bigger girl like myself!
Shauna Richards –
This dress is gorgeous! The instructions were easy to read and follow resulting in a dress that looked SO much more glamorous than I initially expected. I love the skirt on the one I made but I also want to make a casual version out of denim. I can’t wait to give other options for this pattern a shot!
Joanne Castillo –
I am loving all the options that Phoebe offers. Can’t even decide which style would do first. I made the jumpsuit and will definitely make the dresses! Perfect for any special occasion.
Stephanie Carnovale –
WOW what an awesome pattern, I feel like my skill as a sewer just made it to the next level. Everything about this pattern is so professional. I was able to use the pattern to make a formal dress but it could so easily be used to make a more casual style too. Love, love, love this pattern.
Gabriella Hägglund –
? I love my Phoebe jumpsuit, the fit is great (follow the tips for adjusting pattern after length etc) really comfortable, and so gorgeous. And I superlove that with the jumpsuit I can Use it on weekdays with a t-shirt under, and on holidays I dress it up with a blouse under. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Frieda Flavianu –
What a classic design. I love the options on the bodies, the conservatives are also catered for. The endless possibilities on the skirt?????. I can’t wait to make my self a ball gown using this pattern.
Agnes Bobak –
It is a great pattern as with the tutorial it is much easier as it looks so great for easy success for beginner sewistas. The most tricky part is the i visible zip but tutorial is cool for that. Thanks Rebecca for this pattern!
Terri Pettigrew –

Lisa Giorcelli –
This is such an awesome pattern. For a polished finish it is really a simple sew and I’m so impressed with how flattering the jumpsuit option is on my mum tum. I’m keen to make it again with a vertical stripe fabric next.
Loren Lewis –
Another wonderful pattern from the R.P team! I used a few modifications for this one to suit a growing belly! I shortened the width of the waistband and added elastic to it.
Because I made a larger waistband, the shoulders were too wide for mine, so I added a tie in the back, which is an option for the kids version.
The instructions were easy to follow, and even though this was my first fully lined sleeved dress, I had no issues with the process at all!
Thanks again for your wonderful designs, R.P!
Kainui Nihipali –
The Ladies Phoebe is a versatile pattern. I hacked to add pockets and used the add-on to create a jumpsuit. The pants are comfortable for me and I love the ruffle sleeve option as well. This pattern takes time and is best not rushed.
Karen Greenhalgh –
I’m a big fan of jumpsuits so I knew I’d love this. Easy to sew if you have a bit of sewing experience and the instructions are easy to follow. I love how the inside of the jumpsuit is neat! I did add padded cups in case I brave it without anything under. I’ll be making another with a skirt for Christmas ?
Kris Chick –
This is a beautiful dress pattern with really good directions/instructions so everyone can be successful. Just make sure to do a muslin and check your fit so that you get a great fitting holiday party dress!

I really enjoyed this sew! I don’t like the pencil skirt option. I love it. It’s the first time I’ve worked with lining and a zip and the instructions were clear to complete it. I like how it turned out. 🙂

Love this pattern! Made both deep neckline and modesty panel options and both are incredibly flattering options. The deep v neck made me feel supported and covered while being very sexy however I decided I’d get more use from the more modest version. The interlining made working with slippery fabric much easier so I’d definitely recommend this step. Very pleased with the pattern!

Becky McGill-Wilkinson –
I love my Phoebe Jumpsuit! I made this of bonded lace, so it’s dressy, and I wore it to a wedding. It was the perfect outfit to chase my two young kids and still be stylish. I love the fully-lined bodice – it makes for such a professional finish! As always, the pattern instructions are clear and easy to follow. The photos in the instructions make everything incredible easy, including the invisible zipper. This pattern has so many options, there’s a version for every event!

Such a beautiful dress, and a quick sew. Many more in our future.
Kat Churchill –
Such a pretty dress. Easy to dress up or down, depending on the occasion. Will be making this again.
Kelle Lujan –
My daughter loves to dress up so this was a perfect choice for us. I love the option of modesty panels on the front and side as my daughter is still young and more comfortable with coverage. The optional horsehair braid gives a great poof to the skirt. This is a timeless classic design that can be made in all different fabrics to give it a different look.
Kirsty Bucholz –
Who would have thought a Formal Dress would be so easy to make. Seriously Phoebe goes together so easily.
Kris Chick –
This is a beautiful dress pattern with really good directions/instructions so everyone can be successful.
Just make sure to do a muslin and check your fit so that you get a great fitting holiday party dress!
Lisa Corriveau –
The Phoebe kids dress was a fairly quick sew & I was able to complete it in a single day of sewing. The design is quite simple but would work with many different fabric types so can be fairly dressy or casual & can easily be embellished to make it your own. The sizing runs a bit large, so size down if you want a more fitted bodice.
Frieda Flavianu –
All the pattern pieces came together perfectly. I love the technique and the results are amazing. This will be our go to pattern for party outfits. The options are endless.????
Luana Furlanetto –
I really like this pattern, I thought I wouldn’t have felt comfortable wearing the version without modesty panels, but instead it looks great. It’s surprisingly easy to sew considering the beautiful result.
Manuela Zender –
My daughter loves the dress she looks like a little lady in it.
Michelle Mason –
I made the jumpsuit add on and i love the result. I feel smart sexy and its comfy to sit in too. I only had to make a couple of small adjustments and i found the instructions thorough and simple to use.
Mireille Ribiere –
Love it how a pattern can turn out so elegant and also so playfull.
Monaco Parker –
This pattern is definitely perfect for the Christmas & New Years! I think that overall, this pattern is well designed however you decide to make it. I chose to go for the plunging neckline as it’s been a while since I’ve felt that I can actually wear a dress like this.
It is definitely a big investment of fabric, so do be prepared. I was fairly pleased with the pattern, but the lack of notches definitely makes it harder to follow. Some of the pieces are not very clear at indicating front/back, so this would help to clear some of the confusion.
Other than that though, it was nice to sew something that looks and feels beautiful. I hope to be able to wear this at least once during this Christmas season!
Nadine Simard –
Love it, first time making jumpsuit! Love how the top part is finish, all seams hidden.
Pam OFlynn –
Phoebe! So many options! Amazing sew, stunning results!
Peggy Pazera Cooke –
Great party dress with some definite va-va-voom! With the add-on there is an option for everyone!
Scarlett Sims –
The thing I love about RP patterns is that the clear instructions give me a chance to expand my skills. I had never used an interlining or inserted bra cups before but the step by step directions with pictures made it really easy. This pattern isn’t for beginners, but if you haven’t used all of the techniques before, don’t let that stop you.
Sydney Norwood –
I feel like such a bombshell in this dress! I had a little difficulty not catching the side of the strap in the seam on step 4.30 and 4.31, and then I’m still awful at installing invisible zips, but once I got those two points squared away I was good! I’m so excited to make more of these dresses, and to try the other variations!
Zoe Lawson –
A stunning dress! Phoebe will make you look and feel like the Goddess you are. Flattering on all sizes. Plus invisible zips are really not as hard as you imagine, I promise.
Daph Né Geeraerd –
It’s fantastic to make a beautiful dress this quick and easy! I really love the fit of the dress and feel so sexy in it.
Heidi Gerhardt-Bourke Gray –
Absolutely beautiful. Super fast (if I hadn’t have included the ruffle!). Still working on the torso fit but otherwise I love this pattern
Cordelia Henderson –
I love this pattern! I made it for my older sister who is very picky with clothes and she absolutely loves it!
Sandy Simpson –
This is a gorgeous dress and so flattering too. I made this for my daughter and apart from needing to take in a little over her bust, the fit was perfect. The pattern is well drafted and the tutorial is clear, concise and methodical. We used a soft crepe because my daughter wanted the skirt to drape softly.
Patty Schultz –
I enjoyed making this dress. All pieces fit together nicely.
Mireille Ribiere –
Love it, how simple can it be and how great in the same time. With the add-on make you’re own party dress and you feel yourself great. Turn it in a weddingdress , or a promdress whatever you want you can do it.
Cordelia Henderson –
This was such a fun dress to sew!! I made it for my sister, who is normally very picky with clothes, and she loved it!
Vicky Dufour –
Superb pattern, with multiple options ♡ simple to follow.
