“This teddy bear pattern is a beginner’s dream into the world of toy and bear making. It provides staggered opportunities to learn how to craft bears and results in a super cute inside pouch that can fit most child pajamas (or a wide variety of toys and goodies).

“What an easy pattern for a lovely home made cuddling toy! It instantly become my daughters favourite toy as of now.
“
Liz Faber –
This super cute teddy bear is already very loved by my three year old. Having space for his pjs to “live” during the day is great and looks so much better than the pjs just being on the bed. The pattern was easy to follow and quicker than expected to make even with the hand sew portions.

Celina Ng –
Easy sewing project. I will make another one, too cute.
Reen Wilcoxson –
The idea of the bear is really cute. I feel the bear could be larger overall. I feel the zipper could be stitched into the back of the bear before the bear is stitched together. As a consumer I would be disappointed that I would have to hand-stitch the zipper into the bear. If the overall size is enlarged, the head of the bear may be able to be rounded out slightly.
Urška Filipič –
Quick and easy sew. Some parts could be larger or there could be the option of hand sewing.
Tiina Norrkniivilä –
A superfun pattern for reusing old textiles, that suits both for play and as a sleeping friend. Some smaller parts are a little bit tricky, so a little patience can come in handy, but otherwise it’s an easy pattern to make.
Jori Cornand –
Very easy and cute to make!
Melinda Bailey –
Such a great pattern! The fit is perfect, and the instructions give such a professional finish. Can’t wait to make myself a matching pair!
Chelsea Skarphol –
“I love this pattern! With the piping, the shirt takes a bit more time (but is totally worth it!), but it’s a really quick sew otherwise. The instructions are clear, and I’m one of those weird people who loves doing buttonholes, so that was fun for me. My little boy loves his first set, and I’ve got a few more planned. I opted for pants and long sleeves, as we’re headed into colder weather, but I’m sure I’ll be breaking the pattern out again come spring to make the shorts/short sleeve version, too. I foresee many more sets for the whole family in our future.
*A quick note on length: my son is tall and skinny, and measured as a straight 2-3 size on the chart except for height, where he was solidly in the 3-4 size. I lengthened sleeves, bodice, and legs to the 3-4 size and kept everything else 2-3. In the end, the sleeves are perfect, the legs are a bit long (room to grow!), but the bodice is just barely long enough. Otherwise, everything is perfect!”
Laura Walker –
Fabulous pair of pajamas. My son loves them!
Clare Bowes –
“Loved making these for grandkids, for littlest I had to make a mix of 2 sizes as the sizing was a bit out (I believe that this will be fixed by the time it’s available), so top was 5-6, bottoms 3-4 which were a perfect fit. I made mine in brushed (winceyette/flannelette) fabric which is ideal for this time of year, and easy to sew with. For my next pair, if I decide to add a chest pocket to the top, I’d do after sewing button holes, as it got in the way and jammed the attachment on my machine.
Looking forward to making more and also some spring/ summer ones in a thinner fabric for them – when they tried them on they asked their mam if all their PJs could be Nana made ”
Stacey Kay –
Great beginner pattern
Taiko Karen Rai –
These came out super cute! I’ve made the adult version for myself previously, and I was so excited that these were a miniature of my PJs. The size was generous for my 3 year old. Can wear them for awhile and are super comfortable.
Rachel Loper –
So. Much. FUN!! I made coordinating sets for my niece and nephew and they loved them so much they wanted to leave my house wearing them (it was 3pm in the afternoon!). The pattern was easy to follow–I liked how they gave the options for the piping and the pockets. I chose to challenge myself and do the contrast piping, but it would be so simple to leave it off for those who are a little newer to sewing. 🙂
Tracie Alviso –
I love this pattern. It is very easy to make. The instructions are very detailed. This patter is also super cute!!! My daughter loves it. I was able to make it fast and be very proud of such a cute outfit.
Agnes Bobak –
I needed pants for my little ones. This pattern seemed perfect. And it was. Actually in minutes I managed to sew up those pants.
Nadine Simard –
This pattern is great for beginner and fun for family pjs theme.
Stephanie Carnovale –
My son has ASD and this can make him very sensitive about how clothes feel or look, especially to sleep in. This pattern was so quick and easy, the fit was perfect. My only problem has been trying to get them off him in the mornings.
Nichole Merren –
Easy pattern to follow that yields the cutest result! Both top and pants are a good fit and super comfy for lounging according to my kiddo!
Nikki Eatwell –
I was pleasantly surprised by how easy these pjs were to make, I made the short set as my daughter gets really warm. The collar works beautifully, just trust in the steps, and it gives a really smart finish. I used a light brushed cotton which was perfect, I will probably make them in a thin cotton for summer. This is definitely going to be my go to pyjama pattern, I might even try all the variations
Lisa Papaleo –
This was project was not terribly hard but certainly requires focus especially with the top. It was quick relatively quick to sew. It has a good amount of variety for personalized sewing and the fit is great! My kids loved their finished pajamas, calling them cozy and not wanting to take them off. Perfect for their Christmas pajamas this year!
Sseem Sing –
Nice sew, there were some areas that could have been created for serging for eg sleeve to bodice instead of french seam method. Really enjoyed it for the family.
Breana Mayfield –
Pattern is well written and easy to follow. I had a little trouble with the top, specifically attaching the front interlining piece. Other than that it’s a great sew!
Lucy Lloyd –
I love a good pair of PJs – especially when they are a dream to sew up! I thought the collar on these traditional style pjs would be really complicated but the instructions were very clear and made the process quite easy. I love how these pjs look so professionally finished, and my boy loves his new cozy pjs.
Loren Lewis –
“Such a great pattern to sew.
I made a short sleeve shirt and shorts for the upcoming warm Australian summer nights, and the pattern allows plenty of room to move, making it super comfortable!
I can’t wait to do a flannel version for winter next year!!”
Jennifer Jane Darling –
Lovely pattern that comes together quickly and relatively easily. The method for attaching the collar is particularly clever and great for beginners as it takes away the stress of having to sandwich a collar into fabric which can be fiddly. My son gives it 10/10!
Zoe Lawson –
Easy sew! Generous in sizing for a comfy fit. I love the optional piping and pockets. All three of my children LOVE their new PJs.
Ummul Masakin –
sewing PJs for my kids was like a dream come true. i always adored store bought PJs and thought it is seriously hard to sew. Now that i have this pattern, i will be happily sew more for them!
