I am so happy with how my Bubble Berry pants came out! Paired with the Madison Blouse, I have a classy outfit with a vintage feel. Perfect for the office, or a lunch date with my husband. And with the elastic waistband, I stay comfortable in these pants all day long!
Sarah Boses –
This is a lovely wide-leg pants pattern with a comfortable fit thanks to the elastic back waistband. The finishes are top-notch for no exposed seams and the details make them really special!
Debbie Davis –
The berry bubble shorts have just gotten easier and more versatile!
Catherine Killen –
I loved making this pattern, doing French seams on the pocket and making everything look neat without a lining, the overall look was adorable and will be a well used pattern in my collection
Anusha –
I am still gobsmacked that I made a beautiful pair of pants. The instructions are crystal clear and techniques used gives the garment a brilliant finish .
Amy Taylor –
I adore the Berry Bubble shorts, so when I saw that Rebecca Page was designing an add-on for multiple lengths, I was thrilled! I love pants that are full to the floor. I think they are adorable on women and children, and my daughter and I will have multiple pair in our future! Great pattern, and it will be good for all levels.

Such a wonderful pattern now with even more options! I just love how perfect these turned out on the outside as well as inside when hidden seams are used.

The pattern was a great sew. Thanks for awesome patterns
Amanda –
Very cute and fashion forward! Nice break from just jeans and leggings for her wardrobe.
Agnes Bobak –
It is a great pattern, not very complicated but the finished garment looks a ‘store bought’ one. According to my daughter it is very comfortable 🙂
Ummul Masakin –
Love this add on. I see more of it in the future!
Michelle Mason –
These are very comfy trousers, i love the waistband and really enjoyed the pattern

This is a very satisfying pattern for every age. Due to the different options 1 single pattern can turn into a hole lot of different shorts/pants. Sew along steps are not that clear at each step. Mommy & me potion is a definite plus!
Catherine –
Super cute pattern that’s a dream to sew up! Perfect for hot summer days!
Kyra Delaney –
I loved these shorts! They were fun to make and ended up really comfortable when I was done… which I wasn’t expecting. I sewed up the longer version with linen/rayon fabric and added kamsnaps. I can so see making these again with a fancier fabric and gorgeous buttons!
Sarah Miller –
This pattern was very easy! It is super comfortable and was very easy to adjust exactly how I wanted it to come out. A confident beginner could easily tackle this pattern with a little patience and a little extra time. I love the result I got from this pattern. I will for sure be making more!
Debbie Davis –
I’ve now sewn these up as women’s shorts and as child pants with the add-on. Before the summer is over I will definitely be using these to add to my daughter’s shorts wardrobe too. For myself they are super comfortable to wear because they have enough room in the thighs to not constrict when moving and sitting and they come up high enough to cover the pooch – two things that are always a problem for me in store-bought shorts. Both times I have used the unlined versions of the pattern and find that super easy and quick.
Shelby Chubb –
The instructions are incredibly clear and thorough which is very helpful. Before starting the project it all seemed a bit daunting, but once I got started, everything flowed very well thanks to the quality of the instructions (and instructional images). As they were the first shorts/pants I’ve made for myself, my biggest hurdle was fit. I tried fitting for my waist but I probably should have gone a size or two smaller.
Dani Arthur –
I have just sewn my 6th pair of Berry Bubble shorts/pants! I just love this pattern so much especially with the add on. I used a higher rise this time with a shorter yoke/waistband for my own idea on a look. I completely love how they turned out. This is such a great pattern with so many options and great instructions!
Maxyne Jacques –
I really liked the pattern. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. A little longer sewing than I thought, but the result is fantastic!
Chloe Chew –
stylish short which packed with various options. Love it!
Crystal Anderson –
I sewed up the Berry Bubble Shorts Unlined (utilizing the Add-On option), straight legs, with cuff hem. I love the finished look – they are flattering without being too tight or too puffy, and are easy to get on and off thanks to the elastic back band. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, and the pictures make it that much easier to understand each step. For the summer, these are the perfect comfy shorts (with pockets!)!
Elyse Clarke –
These are the cutest shorts! There’s no denying there’s a bit of fiddly work in them but they are so worth it.
Jennifer Reeves –
I wasn’t sure how this pattern would look on plus size, but I love it!
The detailed instructions make this somewhat normal complicated and advanced pattern achievable for beginners, too, and the professional finished Rebecca’s uses makes this pattern shine.
Yolonde Bates –
Simple pattern for experienced machinist.
Sseem Sing –
It was a nice sew love having smart shorts- , however was a bit troublesome referring to two patterns, would have been better if it was made into one set.
Karen Kaye Manalo –
This add-on is a nice completion for the Berry Bubbles Collection. From shorts to pants, there are a lot of options to choose from. This is my first time to sew a pair of pants and I love how it turned out. It is quite an easy make as well since I haven’t really sewed any pants ever since I started sewing. This is really a lovely pattern. Recommending everyone to get the whole collection as this is such a lovely pattern. 🙂
Roeshell Arjin McNelis –
I like this pattern! it was a fairly quick sew, probably quicker without the help of a toddler but hey, it was still pretty quick. I can definitely see myself making more of these shorts.
Laura Walker –
Unique pants pattern with no zip. Fantastic design. Although I fell completely into a certain size range, I think I’d size down next time. Really nice pattern.
Lauren Mills –
I like the pattern. I’d like to lower the front rise next time I make it. The pleats are super cute and I love the front button up detail. Very sailor reminiscent.
Adelle Pears –
There are a few challenging areas in this pattern for me but the detailed instructions with step by step photographs make it easy to follow. I love everything to have pockets and love that there is an unlined version. I’ll certainly be using this pattern again!
Rebekah Homer –
When making woven pants there’s always a question of elastic, zip or fly. Often elastic ones just aren’t very flattering. I absolutely LOVE the look of this pattern. The fun flat front button (or snap) detail and elastic in the back look incredible. I have a large difference between my hip and waist, but this combined elastic and flat front with buttons helps reduce the bulk I would normally have with elastic waistband pants.
The little style details: pleats, buttons, pocket with binding really elevate thee pants. As well, I love the multiple length options, and the straight leg versus bubble finishing. This add on provided extra length and instructions for making the shorts/pants unlined. There’s a lot of pieces and it can take a bit of time to put together, but no single step is complicated. A beginner with patience can easily tackle this project.
I’m still working on some fit adjustments for my unique shape (difficulties I have with all pants), but I can’t wait to solve them and make multiples of these to add as a wardrobe staple 🙂
Khirya Littoria –
Simple to sew and comfortable to wear ♥
Alba Gallifa Hurtado –
I’ve sewed size S in a very thin and soft denim fabric (the one used for shirts). The instructions are very clear and following step by step you get this really nice pants with a great 80’s look that I really love. The look of the front part is really amazing!
Frieda Flavianu –
The Berry Bubble shorts pattern is cool. I love the design at the front. The design is unique and I love it. I will be making more of these for my daughter.
