In this class we are learning two of the most basic, but most important stitches in embroidery – satin stitch & back stitch. Will you be taken through the project step by step, sharing lots of my top tips and helping you to create your own little bee embroidery design!

Supplies for the Bee Embroidery
The project is very flexible – but please watch the Introduction & Materials video for the class for alternative material ideas.
- Embroidery needle (class uses size 3 needle)
- Beading needle
- 18cm x 18cm of fabric (class uses a blue mid-weight linen)
- 18cm x 18cm of scrap fabric (class uses a thin backer fabric)
- 4″ embroidery hoop
- Stranded cotton (class uses DMC 310 & DMC 535)
- Crewel wool (class uses Appletons 996)
- Thin machine thread for adding beads
- 2x Size 11 black seed beads
- Capacity to Print A4 template
- Masking tape
- Light box or bright window
- Heat erasable pen + hairdryer (alternative a pencil will be fine)
- Embroidery scissors
- Fabric scissors

When will I get the pattern? You’ll receive a link to download the pattern immediately after purchase. If you haven’t received it, please check your spam/ junk folder. You can also find your patterns in your ‘My Account’ area.
