The Back-To-School Backpack and Pencil Case are a great little sew, perfect for all sewing abilities! They are both super quick sews and with very simple, easy-to-follow instructions. The backpack and pencil case are perfect for carrying all the essentials that every child must have. The backpack can be used for a multitude of purposes – carrying toys or swim clothes during the summer months to even a quick overnight bag for sleepovers. And the pencil case isn’t just a pencil case! Mix it up and use it for storing art supplies – paints and paint brushes – or a little storage case for all of your sewing essentials – tape measure, quick unpick, markers, rulers etc. The opportunities are endless!

What a fun sew. I made this backpack and pencil pouch for a friend’s daughter who is complete wild about Paw Patrol. The pencil pouch has so much cute detail, and the directions made it so easy to put it all together.A delightful, quick, and easy sew.

The Drawstring Backpack and Pencil Case Set is an easy quick sew. Your little one will feel “all grown up” with his/hers own backpack, just like the big kids! Perfect for a trip to grandmas, or shopping or for those long car rides, packed with books, toys and snacks for the busy toddlers!

I could not believe how quick and easy this was! I thought it was going to be a bit of a challenge because of all the different shapes and awkward angles, but it turned out to be very easy. I love the look of this set. All of my kids and my best friend are fighting over who gets to keep it! Totally a crowd-pleaser!

I had the pleasure of sewing up both the drawstring backpack and pencil case. Both a relatively straightforward and quick sews with detailed instructions with colour photographs. These items are so versatile depending on fabric choice, including a beach bag if made with vinyl/waterproof fabric, to a trick or treat bag made with halloween fabric.

I loved to sewing those items. That’s an original gift. I will add more interfacing next time.

I really enjoyed mixing fabrics to create a beautiful and functional bag and pencil case. The drawstring for the backpack was easier to complete than I thought and I’m loving the options on the pencil case. I think these will be great gifts for my daughter’s middle school friends! Thank you for another lovely sew.

This was such an easy pattern bundle to sew. Both the drawstring bag and the pencil pouch are well designed and it is easy to create a casual bag and pouch. The patterns are so versatile, it is also easy to make a more formal elegant bag and pouch. Thank you for another great pattern bundle!
