The 2021 Paper Crafts Summit Teachers
Abbi Kirsten
Abbi Kirsten Collections
I’m Abbi; creator and owner behind Abbi Kristen Collections! I’m a blogger, 3x author, Cricut lover, and craft designer. I started my small shop on Etsy in 2014, still known as Catching Colorflies because I realized I needed to find a creative outlet outside of Motherhood and Wifehood. After my shop opened, I started my blog Abbi Kirsten Collections, my parent brand, which unexpectedly blossomed into one of the most popular craft blogs on the internet! My small business has launched into a career, and I have been honored to work with many well-known companies like Michaels Craft Store, Cricut, HGTV, and Bridal magazine, and many others.
As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed crafting. Believe it or not, my talents haven’t always come easy to me, but rather through hard work, which continually forces me to discover creativity within myself, which I never knew existed. When I am not crafting rainbows of color in my studio, you can find me designing new crafts and printables on my couch while cuddling with my two kids, husband, and my two dogs. My bucket of creative ideas is always overflowing, and spreading the joy of crafting is truly why I love what I do! In addition to my love (ahem..obsession) for colorfully crafting, I have a passion for helping other creative dreamers launch their own businesses and achieve lasting success!

Meredith Amand
The Papery Craftery
After I graduated from art school, I was looking for a way to stay in that world. I found a small local art association and began volunteering. As part of that connection, I was able to show work in their gallery, but I wanted to do something different from what they already had. I fell across some photos of amazing modern quilling techniques and I was hooked! Now I’m the mama to two crazy-adorable children and happily married to Mr. Craftery. They patiently pick up teensy scraps of quilling paper off the floor while I figure out how to recreate everyday objects into papercraft. My love of paper exploded and I started teaching online to share the incredible techniques and tricks that I’ve learned.
Minakshi Biswas
Ever since a child, I had keen interest in drawing, handcrafts, and other creative activities. I started uploading some of my works on Instagram when my then 15 year old son, Amitakshar introduced me to Youtube and encouraged me to upload my work there. My daughter, Kathakali, Research and Documentation Associate, Anjali, a mental health organization, has been yet another inspiration who kept pushing me to pursue my hobby seriously and constantly reminded me that I had it in me. My husband, Aloke’s support uplifted my confidence further. I started uploading videos on Youtube since December, 2016 and surprisingly within a few months, one of my videos received a million views! I was extremely elated at the fact that people were liking my work and wanted to watch more of them! And thus my journey began!
