Ok, there are a lot of things I love and a lot of clothing styles that speak to my soul. But let me tell you about me and lingerie. It’s more than love. It’s adoration/ adulation/ reverence/ bordering on worship. Lingerie is LIFE! Especially when it fits.

I have a mild obsession with undies. But they do need to be in matching sets. I have been known to change a top, which then needs a new bra, so I change my undies too. ‘Cause they gotta match! They don’t have to be fancy jobs – they just have to match! A cool cotton set is just as lovely as a pretty lacy pair. I LOVE lingerie.

BUT, my matching rule aside, I have such a hard time finding good fitting bras. I am not particularly busty (and can only imagine what a mission it is for the bigger chested among us) and have a fairly narrow back, but bubble boob is the bane of my existence. I have been measured, tried sister sizes, and found a fairly happy compromise – sports bras. And while they are comfy for me, they’re just not appropriate to wear with a load of clothing styles. I need me some proper, underwire bras with gentle lift, coverage, and support. Enter Bianca (plus the matching undies, obviously).

There are a gazillion of these sets in my future. The fitting advice alone, has me hooked. And as much of a beginner sewista as I am, I am adventurous enough to give the bra a go in my pursuit for perfectly-fitting sets of lingerie. I know I’ll learn some things along the way too.
