Holiday Last Minute Gifts Guide

Holiday Last Minute Gifts Guide

Ever look at the calendar and realize there are only so many days left before a holiday or occasion, and you totally forgot to get a gift?!! You ask yourself “what on earth could I possibly make that is easy to sew, comes together quickly and would be nice to receive?” Well, ask yourself these questions no more, because I’ve put together a Holiday Last Minute Gifts guide for EVERYONE on your list!
I’ve made sure that every sewing pattern on this list can be made in under a couple of hours, requires having limited amounts of fabric and supplies (perfect for stash busting), and can be personalized for the recipient. So let’s jump in so we can start sewing straight away!

1.  Zoe Zip Pouches

Zoe Zip Pouches are quick and easy to make and everyone could use more storage bags in their life! My favorite sizes to make into a set are Large, Medium and Small as you can fit so many things in them! You could also make a Zoe Zip Pouch to use as reusable gift wrap and hide another gift inside!

2. Cold Weather Bundle

I live in the U.K. and it can get pretty chilly during the winter holiday gifting season! I love making and giving cozy gifts to my loved ones, because nothing says “I care about you” quite like something handmade that keeps you warm! The Cold Weather Bundle includes the Winter Hat, Cozy Headband and Rain Boot Liner patterns which are perfect for keeping heads and toes warm! Each project is quick to make, uses very little fabric and is available for children and adult sizes.

3. Tie & Bow Tie

Everyone has that person on their gift list that they have no idea what to give them! Not many people have a one-of-a-kind handmade Tie and Bow Tie that they can wear while twinning with their pet! For the person who has everything else, a custom Tie and Bow Tie is the perfect gift! The sewing pattern comes with both the Tie and Bow Tie pattern sized for pets, children and adults!

4. Pajama Teddy Bear

Growing up, I had a Teddy Bear that held my Pajamas in a hidden pouch inside of the bear’s belly. I loved this bear because it was cute and my mum loved this bear because it gave me a spot to store my PJs when I wasn’t wearing them! This kept my bedroom nice and tidy! Now you can make a Pajama Teddy Bear for your loved ones and gift them something both cute and functional!

5. Bib Apron

I love giving handmade aprons with the Bib Apron pattern because they come together so quickly! Personalize the apron with a monogram or funny phrase from one of our free cut files! You could also pair the apron with other food gifts for the chef or grill master in your life!

6. Gift Card Envelope

If you’ve already picked up a Gift Card for someone, you can still add some handmade thoughtfulness to it, by making a Gift Card Envelope from the Gift Card Envelope Sewing Pattern. This adorable little envelope can be sewn up quickly using fabric scraps in fabrics that the recipient will love. I know they’ll appreciate the extra time you put into making a custom Gift Card Envelope for them!
