What patterns can I use this Bicep Sleeve Adjustment tutorial with?

This bicep sleeve adjustment tutorial is perfect for anyone wanting to add more space into the bicep area of a sleeve.

Difficulty Level = Beginner

We originally designed this tutorial to show how to do a bicep sleeve adjustment with the our coat and top patterns (such as the Vintage Sleeve Blouse, Classic Blouse, Andie Anorak and Brielle Blouse), however you can use this with nearly any top or coat sewing pattern to adjust the biceps for a more personalized fit.

As each pattern will have different style sleeves, they may fit differently on you. Check your measurement against the finished measurement chart. Once you’ve made your muslin of the pattern, you may find you need to make the sleeve bigger at the bicep.

Measure your bicep and check that measurement against the finished measurements. Make a note of the difference. This is how much you will need to add into the sleeve bicep.

Follow the tutorial below to adjust your one piece sleeve, where you will split and spread the piece to add into the bicep.
