When I was younger my imaginative play was climbing The Faraway Tree, flying all over the world on The Wishing Chair, disappearing down foxholes with Fantastic Mr Fox, getting up to mischief with Peter Rabbit, and chronicling my escapades in Narnia. I am a bookworm, and am supremely jealous of Book Week that the Aussies get to experience. If some dressing up had been thrown into that mixture of adventures, growing up would not have been an option.
This butterfly costume stokes all the imagination fires. It’s exactly the kind of dress up I would have loved as a kidlet. My mamma would have preferred me frolicking around the garden, playing with fairies and reliving my book quests in one of these. And not her wedding dress (that I outgrew at 12!).
The RP brand ambassadors’ butterfly costumes have set my heart aflutter! Are these not some of the sweetest dress ups you have seen?
This butterfly costume belongs in every treasure chest of imaginative play things. I’m a tad on the “grown up” side of the sizing, but my niece isn’t and the mask can be scaled to fit any size… So I definitely see some flutterby tea parties in the near future!
